Body Wraps

Sorry for being so lazy, but I just find such great information at this supplier site. I love their products too.

From Nature With Love:

Body wraps for cellulite elimination and detoxification have become very popular these days. Spas charge an arm and a leg to do whole body wraps but they are easy to do yourself and certainly do not need to cost a fortune. The ingredients are all natural and safe for use by anyone. Body wraps can aid in healing of skin problems, tone and tighten the skin, improve circulation, alleviate muscle and joint pain, treat acne, detoxify the body and help mobilize fat so it can be eliminated from the body naturally. The effect of the wrap is determined by the ingredients that you chose to use.

You do not need any special equipment other than a mixing bowl, heating pot and wrapping sheets (thin towels will work). You need to set aside about 1 1/2 hours of your time to prepare and enjoy the wrap. It is recommended that you do 1 wrap per week for at least 6 weeks and then 1 per month after that, for maintenance and continued detoxification. It is however safe enough to do a wrap every day or even multiple wraps in one day to quicken the effects.

GOAT MILK SOAP

Making Goat milk soap is a bit tricky. If you are not careful you could burn the milk to a carmel color.
I finally got it! I tried my fragrance free soap today. Oh so lovely.
Now I need fragrances..........any suggestions???

For the love of Patchouli

You either hate it or love it. Being a child in the 1970's, I did have a little contact with the earthy fragrance. I just love it and use it in my Earth Mama soap. Here is a little more info about it.

This info is from one of my suppliers From Nature with Love

Our Organic Patchouli Essential Oil, Pogostemon cablin, is a delightful, fresh oil that gets even better with age. Unlike many essential oils that oxidize an deteriorate, our Organic Patchouli Essential Oil will mellow and become even richer and earthier over time. Patchouli Essential Oil gained popularity in the 1960s. The aroma is warm, earthy, woody and exotic. It is perfectly suited for masculine, oriental, exotic and "hippy" fragrancing applications. The rich, earthy aroma is well suited for men's fragrances and skin care products, but is also versatile enough to ground and mellow out floral or feminine fragrances. In perfumery and fragrancing, Organic Patchouli Essential Oil is a base note. It is incredible on its own or when blended with other essential oils and aromatics. Organic Patchouli Essential Oil blends well with sandalwood, vetiver, cedarwood, orange, bergamot, ginger, bay, rose, geranium and other citrus, spice and floral oils.

Therapeutically, Organic Patchouli Essential Oil is an effective anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant and stress reliever. Organic Patchouli Essential Oil helps to tighten the pores of the skin and is used to combat wrinkles. It regulates oily skin and dandruff and is said to mobilize cellulite for elimination. Organic Patchouli Essential Oil helps to break up mucous and helps to reduce fever. Organic Patchouli Essential Oil is also used for the treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, sores and burns.
